Jumper’s Knee Study

GENUPOINT PATELLAR TENDON SUPPORT

In a comparative cross-sectional study on patellar tendinopathy, also known as jumper’s knee or patellar tip syndrome, Dr. Hans Zwerver from the University Medical Center Groningen researched the effect of the GenuPoint on the patellar tendon.

The results from using this patellar tendon support showed a clear reduction in pain and a positive proprioceptive influence on test subjects who were already experiencing reduced sensorimotor function. The study ‘Effect of a patellar strap on the joint position sense of the symptomatic knee in athletes with patellar tendinopathy’ has now been published online in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sports.
